Composed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, several of these pieces reflect the consequences of a particularly difficult period for the world of culture and the arts through their oppressive or obsessive character. Some pieces on the other hand breathe an air of serenity, lightheartedness, and hope out of a necessity for optimism. These 9 miniatures, compositions for clarinet and piano, are characterized by their brevity. Each piece represents a microcosm, telling a story in the manner of a song, a novella, or of a short film, and immersing us in various atmospheres.
